Beleuchtet Momente und holt Erinnerungen hoch, die sich verloren angef\u00fchlt haben.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dies ist mein erster Roman von Benedict Wells. Immer nur knapp zwei Jahre \u00e4lter als ich, konnte ich an seinem Lebensweg den ablesen, den ich nicht eingeschlagen, aber immer beneidet habe. Weil ich mich nicht traute. Vielleicht auch, weil ich es nicht gekonnt h\u00e4tte. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deshalb wollte ich lange Zeit nicht in seine B\u00fccher eintauchen, deshalb las ich dieses wohl auch mit einem \u00fcberkritischem Blick, der mich im ersten Drittel des Romanes noch auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten aufmerksam machte. Zwei, drei Vorahnungen im Sinne von &#8218;wenn ich damals schon gewusst h\u00e4tte, dann\u2026&#8216;, die unn\u00f6tig sind. Auch gibt es ein Kapitel in dem die Erz\u00e4hlperspektive wechselt und f\u00fcr einen kurzen Moment nicht mehr ein Mann in Gedanken sein Leben abspielt und wir in seinem Kopf dabei sein, alles miterleben d\u00fcrfen, schambefreit und unzensiert, sondern wir als existenter Leser angesprochen werden und f\u00fcr dieses Kapitel dem Erz\u00e4hler klar ist, dass wir da sind und ich mir f\u00fcr diese Passage nicht mehr sicher bin, ob er mir vielleicht doch Dinge verschweigt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alles Kleinigkeiten, die mir nur auffielen, weil ich einerseits nach solchen Dingen gesucht habe und andererseits, weil die Geschichte sonst gro\u00dfartig erz\u00e4hlt ist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wells braucht keinen gro\u00dfen Plot erz\u00e4hlen, er schafft Atmosph\u00e4re und so ein Gef\u00fchl, dass ich in der Geschichte bin, in ihr bleiben will und von ihr ber\u00fchrt werde. Immer wieder neu identifiziere ich mich, vergleiche mein Leben, meine Gedanken, meine Tr\u00e4ume und h\u00e4nge auch nach dem Ende der Geschichte den Figuren nach. Vom Ende der Einsamkeit hat mich unterhalten, mich ber\u00fchrt, mich zum Nachdenken gebracht. Was will man von einem Roman mehr?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>F\u00fcr mich hei\u00dft das nun, ganz viele Romane nachholen. Ein Gl\u00fcck stehen schon alle im B\u00fccherregal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2Q5hQkm\">Vom Ende der Einsamkeit<\/a>\u00a0von Benedict Wells erschien bei <a href=\"https:\/\/www.diogenes.ch\/leser\/titel\/benedict-wells\/vom-ende-der-einsamkeit-9783257069587.html\">Diogenes<\/a>.
