Seit es vor mehr als zehn Jahren abgest\u00fcrzt ist, versucht eine privatisierte Einheit der amerikanischen Regierung hinter das Geheimnis des Ufos und des Alien zu kommen, ziemlich erfolglos. Bis sich Dakota einerseits Hals \u00fcber Kopf ihren neuen Mitarbeiter verliebt und andererseits die ganze Einrichtung verkauft werden soll, um Ufo und Alien \u00f6ffentlich auszustellen. Dakota wehrt sich gegen beides.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tor-labs.com\/steal-the-stars\/\">Steal the Stars<\/a> ist ein abgeschlossenes H\u00f6rspiel, welches in Podcastform geliefert wurde, 14 Episoden mit einer Laufzeit zwischen 20 und 45 Minuten, die mittlerweile komplett und kostenlos bei verschiedenen Anbietern verf\u00fcgbar sind. Finanziert wird der Podcast \u00fcber gef\u00fchlt zwei Minuten lange Werbeeinblendungen, die aber relativ unaufdringlich sind. Wer keine Werbung haben will, kann sich das ganze H\u00f6rbuch auch <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2K7Nivf\">kaufen<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Steal the Stars ist die erste Produktion von <a href=\"https:\/\/tor-labs.com\/\">Tor Labs<\/a>, einem Imprint des amerikanischen Verlages TOR Books, eine Experimentierstation f\u00fcr neue Erz\u00e4hlm\u00f6glichkeiten. Erstmal ist es sch\u00f6n, wie Steal the Stars erz\u00e4hlt wird. Das Format des H\u00f6rspiels wird sauber benutzt und kann Effekte erzeugen, die weder im Film noch in einem Buch m\u00f6glich sind. Die Anmutung ist roh und leicht angedreckt, die ganze Produktion ist hochwertig und es macht superviel Spa\u00df, der Geschichte zu folgen, auch wenn die Pr\u00e4misse &#8218;Alien auf der Erde&#8216; nicht die Neueste ist.<\/p>\n<p>Mit der Liebesgeschichte dagegen bin ich zum Gro\u00dfteil \u00fcberhaupt nicht klargekommen. Sie kam mir oft plump und unerkl\u00e4rt vor, wie eine comichafte Version von Liebe, bei der der Figur, tats\u00e4chlich der Kiefer auf den Boden plumpst und das Herz sichtbar durch den K\u00f6rper schl\u00e4gt. Das konnte ich leider nicht ernst nehmen.<\/p>\n<p>Trotzdem habe ich die ingesamt knapp 7 Stunden gerne geh\u00f6rt, weil der Rest der Story schon ziemlich gut gebaut ist. Ich mag diese Art, Geschichten zu erz\u00e4hlen. Und als erstes Experiment im Podcastbereich ist das schon ein sehr sch\u00f6nes St\u00fcck. Ich bin gespannt, was Tor Labs und die Podcastwelt \u00fcberhaupt noch an sch\u00f6nen Geschichten bringen werden.<\/p>\n<p>Es gibt \u00fcbrigens auch eine <a href=\"https:\/\/tor-labs.com\/steal-the-stars-novelization\/\">Buchfassung<\/a> zum Podcast. Ich habe sie nicht gelesen, finde es aber schade, dass Tor diese Chance nicht genutzt hat und statt einer einfachen Nacherz\u00e4hlung eine andere Geschichte in der selben Welt zu erz\u00e4hlen.
