Seit 2012 zieht der Mann ziemlich geilen Schei\u00df nach Stuttgart, unter anderem regelm\u00e4\u00dfig Tad Williams.\u00a0 Neben all seinen Fantasyromanen hat er die Otherworld-Reihe geschrieben, die mich vor vielen Jahren sehr lange gefesselt hat. Nun ist sein neuester Fantasyroman drau\u00dfen, <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2yYaji9\">Die Hexenholzkrone<\/a>. Ich habe den Roman noch nicht gelesen, kenne auch nicht die anderen der Osten Ard Reihe. Aber nachdem er bereits zum dritten Mal in Stuttgart war und er mittlerweile 60 ist, musste ich ihn endlich mal sehen.<\/p>\n<p>Der Max-Bense-Saal im Untergeschoss der Bibliothek ist gut gef\u00fcllt und in fast allen H\u00e4nden oder Taschen liegen dicke B\u00fccher. Und weil das hier die Dragon Days sind, ist das auch keine normale Lesung. Zuerst wird der Gewinner des <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dragon-days.de\/2017\/kurzgeschichtenwettbewerb\">Kurzgeschichtenwettbewerbs<\/a> verk\u00fcndet und seine Geschichte wird von <a href=\"http:\/\/www.barbara-stoll.com\/START.html\">Barbara Stoll<\/a> vorgetragen, tats\u00e4chlich ganz sch\u00f6ne Geschichte. Erst dann springt Tad Williams auf die B\u00fchne.<\/p>\n<p>Er springt tats\u00e4chlich. Wenn man nicht w\u00fcsste, dass er 60 ist, k\u00f6nnte man ihn auf 12 sch\u00e4tzen. W\u00e4hrend seiner Lesung gestikuliert er, l\u00fcmmelt in seinem Sessel, wenn er zuh\u00f6rt, und wenn er Antworten gibt und Anekdoten erz\u00e4hlt, springt er auf der B\u00fchne herum. Er hat offensichtlich Spa\u00df, er wei\u00df, wir man Menschen unterh\u00e4lt und begeistert. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Autor.BjoernSpringorum\/\">Bj\u00f6rn Springorum<\/a> ist der Moderator, Fragensteller und Spielpartner auf der B\u00fchne. Ich musste auf die n\u00fcchterne, manchmal leicht entr\u00fcckte Art von Bj\u00f6rn erstmal klarkommen, aber sehr schnell war klar, dass Bj\u00f6rn &#8211; selbst Fantasyautor &#8211; nicht nur zum Fragen stellen daneben sitzt, sondern sie sich auf Augenh\u00f6he unterhalten. Und das sind die sch\u00f6nsten Interviews.<\/p>\n<p>Tad erz\u00e4hlt und kommentiert, macht Witze und liest vor. Klar ist er ge\u00fcbt in all dem, aber trotzdem ist es keine Routine, die er abspult. Es macht extrem viel Spa\u00df, auch wenn man die Welten, von denen er redet, nicht kennt. Die Lesung ist relativ kurz und das ist vollkommen in Ordnung. Es geht mir mehr darum, ihn zu erleben. Und das ist ein gro\u00dfartiges Erlebnis. Die deutsche Lesung von Barbara Stoll ist auch gut, aber nicht ganz so gro\u00dfartig, wie ich es mir erw\u00fcnscht h\u00e4tte. Und ja, ich bin traurig, den &#8222;Stammsprecher&#8220; Andreas Fr\u00f6hlich nicht zu erleben.<\/p>\n<p>Mitten in der Veranstaltung kommt er musikalische \u00dcberraschungsgast. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sebastianbarwinek.com\/home\">Sebastian Barwinek<\/a> ist Folks\u00e4nger und hat unter anderem ein paar Songtexte, die Tad Williams in seine B\u00fccher geschrieben hat &#8211; jedes gro\u00dfe Fantasywerk braucht eigene Songs, die die Helden singen &#8211; vertont. Zwei tr\u00e4gt er vor. Und tats\u00e4chlich funktioniert das extrem gut. Schnappte mit den letzten Stuhl in der ersten Reihe, stelle die erste Publikumsfrage, stellte mich ganz nach vorne, was das Signieren anging. Ich musste manchmal an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mokita.de\/blog\/2017\/02\/26\/lesung-t-c-boyle-im-wizemann-stuttgart-am-15-02-17\/\">TC Boyle<\/a> denken, dessen Lesungen \u00e4hnlich viel Spa\u00df machen. Boyle ist zehn Jahre \u00e4lter. Hoffentlich ist Williams mindestens genauso lange fit und kommt immer wieder vorbei.
