Ein Buch \u00fcber die mittlerweile erwachsenen vier Geschwister Plumb, die eigentlich jeweils 500.000 Euro\u00a0aus einem Fond bekommen sollten, wenn Melody, die J\u00fcngste, 40 wird. Aber wenige Monate vorher verursacht Leo, der \u00c4lteste, einen Vorfall, der das Geld fast vollkommen aufbraucht.<\/p>\n<p>Die Geschwister hatten mit dem Geld gerechnet, das Leben damit geplant und haben jetzt mehr oder weniger Probleme. Und sie m\u00fcssen, obwohl ihre Leben weit auseinander gedriftet sind, sich wieder miteinander besch\u00e4ftigen.<\/p>\n<p>Cynthia D&#8217;Aprix Sweeney erz\u00e4hlt ausschweifend, detailliert, breit. Es geht nicht nur um die vier Geschwister, sondern auch um ihre Mutter, ihre Kinder und Lebenspartner, ihre Arbeitskollegen und sonstige Menschen, die mit ihnen zusammentreffen. Wir lernen die Hintergr\u00fcnde, die Motivationen und die W\u00fcnsche kennen. Und Dutzende Handlungsstr\u00e4nge. nach einem Drittel des Romans ist mir klar, dass es gar nicht um die Familie geht und wie sie ihre Geldprobleme l\u00f6sen. Sondern um das Gesellschaftsbild, welches D&#8217;Aprix Sweeny zeichnet. Dieses ist tats\u00e4chlich spannend, weil sie immer wieder Charaktere erz\u00e4hlt, die ich kenne, die jeder aus seinem Leben kennt. Insofern lache und nicke ich\u00a0und sage, jaja, kenn ich auch! Und am Ende bin ich auch ber\u00fchrt.<\/p>\n<p>Aber\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2iay7FD\">Das Nest<\/a>\u00a0hat auch extrem langatmige Strecken. Episoden, bei denen ich mir bis heute nicht sicher bin, ob ich sie gebraucht h\u00e4tte. Machmal kommt mir die Grenze dessen, was noch erz\u00e4hlt wird, und was dann zu viel ist, willk\u00fcrlich vor.<\/p>\n<p>Bevor ich das Buch angefangen habe, war ich auf der <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mokita.de\/blog\/2016\/11\/12\/lesung-cynthia-daprix-sweeney-am-10-11-im-literaturhaus-stuttgart\/\">Lesung von Cynthia D&#8217;Aprix Sweeney<\/a> und Johann von B\u00fclow, der das H\u00f6rbuch gesprochen hat. Nat\u00fcrlich wei\u00df sie, welche Stellen sie heraussuchen muss, nat\u00fcrlich kann er die Stellen so lesen, dass man Lust auf mehr hat. Also h\u00f6re ich mir das gesamte Buch an, 12 Stunden.<\/p>\n<p>Ich bin oft \u00fcberrascht, auf der B\u00fchne liefert Johann von B\u00fclow eine gro\u00dfartige Show und es ist toll, ihm zuzuh\u00f6ren. Aus 12 Stunden gedehnt f\u00e4llt er mir zu oft in einen coolen Duktus, l\u00e4sst fast alle Figuren mit einer \u00e4hnlichen Art von \u00dcberheblichkeit sprechen und denken, sodass ich mir manchmal denke, vielleicht h\u00e4tten sie anders gewirkt, wenn ich es selbst gelesen h\u00e4tte. Auf der anderen Seite wei\u00df ich nicht, ob ich es tats\u00e4chlich komplett gelesen h\u00e4tte, weil, wie gesagt, war er mir Streckenweise viel zu lang.<\/p>\n<p>Ich wei\u00df, Das Nest ist international erfolgreich und wird f\u00fcr Amazon verfilmt. D&#8217;Aprix Sweeney, sie schreibt auch das Drehbuch, meinte nach der Lesung zu mir, dass viel gek\u00fcrzt wird, um den Stoff\u00a0auf Filml\u00e4nge zu bekommen. Das kann dem Buch ganz gut tun. In der jetzigen Form fand ich Buch und H\u00f6rbuch nett, aber in keine Richtung herausragend.<\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2iay7FD\">Das Nest<\/a>\u00a0von Cynthia D&#8217;Aprix-Sweeney wurde \u00fcbersetzt von\u00a0Nicolai Schweder-Schreiner und erschien bei <a href=\"https:\/\/www.klett-cotta.de\/buch\/Gegenwartsliteratur\/Das_Nest\/74705\">Klett-Cotta<\/a>. Das H\u00f6rbuch wurde gesprochen von Johann von B\u00fclow und erschien bei <a href=\"http:\/\/www.der-audio-verlag.de\/hoerbuecher\/das-nest-sweeney-cynthia-daprix-978-3-86231-825-4\/\">Der Audio Verlag<\/a>.
