Eine Gewissheit, wo es nichts als Ungewissheit gibt. Ich zum Beispiel, ich glaube, dass unter dem Feld neben dem Haus, in dem ich lebe, Gr\u00e4ber liegen.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Los geht es mit\u00a0dem Einschlag unz\u00e4hliger Meteroiten. Und dann ist alles anders. Dann geht es um das \u00dcberleben von Ed, seiner Frau und ihren beiden Kindern. Geht los wie ein Post-Apokalypseroman und beh\u00e4lt dieses Thema nat\u00fcrlich auch bei. Walker beschreibt erf\u00fcllt nat\u00fcrlich auch einige Klischees des Genres: Nahtoderfahrungen, zerst\u00f6rte Infrastrukturen, die zerbr\u00f6ckelnde Moral nach dem Zusammenbruch der Zivilisation und nat\u00fcrlich die\u00a0gro\u00dfen Frage, ob die Familie \u00fcberlebt.<\/p>\n<p>Dann aber wird Ed von seiner Familie getrennt und wenn er sie wiedersehen will, muss er in kurzer Zeit 500 Meilen durch Gro\u00dfbritannien zur\u00fccklegen, damit seine Familie nicht ohne ihn nach Neuseeland evakuiert wird. Und weil das Land zerst\u00f6rt ist, muss das zu Fu\u00df passieren.<\/p>\n<p>Klar, der gro\u00dfe Antrieb ist, ob Ed es schafft. Aber Walker nutzt die hunderten Meilen, um sehr eindr\u00fccklich den Zerfall der Familie zu beschreiben, der schon viel fr\u00fcher eingesetzt hat und schafft damit die Identifikationsfl\u00e4che, den Teil, den wir von uns kennen. Die Probleme, die Ed hat, die kennen wir alle. Damit aber nicht wir erst erkennen, was wir \u00e4ndern sollten, macht das Ed f\u00fcr uns. Qu\u00e4lt sich mit vier weiteren Menschen durch ein zerst\u00f6rtes Land voller Gefahren und viel Zeit, sich \u00fcber das Leben klar zu werden. Der sprichw\u00f6rtliche Lauf um das Leben.<\/p>\n<p>Das macht aus\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2gKHxZe\">Am Ende aller Zeiten<\/a>\u00a0eben mehr als den spannenden Standardroman \u00fcber die Frage, ob die Hauptpersonen am Ende noch leben. Es macht ihn zu einem Roman \u00fcber die Liebe, das Leben und eben auch einen Roman \u00fcber das Laufen. Ich war nicht nur gespannt, ich war ber\u00fchrt und ich habe nachgedacht.<\/p>\n<p>Verst\u00e4rkt wurde all das noch durch die grandiose Leistung von Uve Teschner. Dies ist mein erstes H\u00f6rbuch von ihm, ich bin grandios begeistert. Teschner schafft es, mich \u00fcber 12 Stunden zu fesseln, mich nicht vom Inhalt abzulenken, sondern ihn passend zu verst\u00e4rken. Wirklich gro\u00df.<\/p>\n<p>Der Originaltitel legt den Fokus noch mehr auf das Laufen, dort hei\u00dft das Buch &#8222;The End of the World Running Club&#8220; und wurde von Walker erstmal als Selbstverlag herausgebracht, wie damals auch <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mokita.de\/blog\/2015\/04\/10\/roman-der-marsianer-von-andy-weir\/\">Der Marsianer<\/a>. Dann wurde Penguin darauf aufmerksam, in Deutschland wurde der Roman von Fischer Tor herausgebracht, als erstes Buch dieses neuen Verlags f\u00fcr Fantasy und Science Fiction. In Amerika ist TOR der Verlag f\u00fcr diese Genres, mit einer gro\u00dfen Fanbase und einer sehr aktiven Community. Ich finde dies einen gelungenen Auftakt f\u00fcr eine deutsche Version und hoffe, noch bei bei Fischer Tor, mehr von Adrian j. Walker lesen und mehr von Uve Teschner h\u00f6ren zu d\u00fcrfen.<\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2gKHxZe\">Am Ende aller Zeiten<\/a>\u00a0von Adrian J. Walker wurde \u00fcbersetzt von Gesine Schr\u00f6der und Nadine P\u00fcschel und erschien bei <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tor-online.de\/adrian-walker-am-ende-aller-zeiten\/\">Fischer Tor<\/a>. Das H\u00f6rbuch wurde gesprochen von Uve Teschner und\u00a0erschien beim <a href=\"http:\/\/www.argon-verlag.de\/2016\/08\/walker-am-ende-aller-zeiten\/\">Argon Verlag<\/a>.
