Erst, wenn du daran entlangf\u00e4hrst, das immer schon Vertraute vorbeigleiten und zur\u00fcckbleiben siehst.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Pl\u00f6tzlich war Kate Tempest auf meinem Radar.\u00a0Der Name f\u00fchrte \u00fcber einen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=0NRYLzWovtk\">Spoken Word Text<\/a> zu diesem Roman. Bevor wir \u00fcber den Inhalt reden, erstmal die Form. Die ist n\u00e4mlich unglaublich geil. Okay, ich verstehe den Dinosaurier auch nach dem Lesen nicht, aber das\u00a0minimale Cover ohne Schutzumschlag, das Gef\u00fchl, dieses Buch in der Hand zu halten und es aufzuschlagen, ich liebe es. Das Buch hat eine Fadenbindung und einen geraden Buchr\u00fccken und wenn ich es aufschlage, liegt es flach auf dem Tisch. Ich bin total begeistert.<\/p>\n<p>Was in der Form beginnt, geht im Inhalt weiter. Das Intro liest sich wie ein Spoken Word Text, ein Rap in Prosaform und die Beats springen mir entgegen, was mir erstmal schwerf\u00e4llt und mich verwirrt. Danach wird es besser, entweder sind die Beats schw\u00e4cher oder ich habe mich an sie gew\u00f6hnt.<\/p>\n<div class=\"tumblr-post\" data-href=\"https:\/\/embed.tumblr.com\/embed\/post\/t:Jf8XPotb6_SIvoVbcMZHuw\/146548331174\/v2\" data-did=\"f6d8dc431a0538f413cd91c65dcdc78046e3569d\"  ><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tumblr.com\/wasuebrigbleibt\/146548331174\/leon-sah-dass-das-leben-mal-abscheulich-und-mal\">https:\/\/www.tumblr.com\/wasuebrigbleibt\/146548331174\/leon-sah-dass-das-leben-mal-abscheulich-und-mal<\/a><\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/assets.tumblr.com\/post.js?_v=38df9a6ca7436e6ca1b851b0543b9f51\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Kate Tempest erz\u00e4hlt einen Ausschnitt aus dem Leben in London, mit vielen Geschichten und Ereignissen und Menschen, deren Wege\u00a0irgendwann immer zusammenfinden. Sie erz\u00e4hlt mit einem detaillierten auktorialen Erz\u00e4hler, der extrem nah an den Figuren ist. Ich lese nicht nur abwechselnd die Gedanken und Gef\u00fchle der vier Protagonisten, ich kenne ihre Familie bis zu den Gro\u00dfeltern, ich wei\u00df, warum die Eltern sich wie verhalten haben und verstehe, warum sich die Protagonisten verhalten, wie sie es tun. Ich muss es nicht akzeptieren oder gar gut hei\u00dfen, aber ich kann es nachvollziehen.<\/p>\n<p>Mehr noch, ich will es verfolgen. Obwohl es verwirrend und anstrengend ist und Kate Tempest von Person zu Person, von Gef\u00fchl zu Gegengef\u00fchl springt, will ich dabei sein. Obwohl ich mein Problem mit Geschichten \u00fcber Drogen habe und sie meist als Attit\u00fcde und Lebensstil lese, der nicht meiner ist, geht es mir hier anders.<\/p>\n<p>Ich brauche eine ganze Weile, bis ich die Geschichten verstehe und wer wie zusammengeh\u00f6rt. Aber dann folge ich ihnen und will mehr wissen, selbst, als das Buch zu Ende ist. Dann sitze ich entt\u00e4uscht da. Lese den Anfang nochmal. Schade, dass es nicht weitergeht. Aber hej, genau das ist es, ein Ausschnitt aus dem Leben. Es g\u00e4be keinen guten Punkt, um auszusteigen.<\/p>\n<p>Und wir steigen auch nicht wirklich aus, denn Kate Tempest verschr\u00e4nkt ihre K\u00fcnste. Das hei\u00dft, die Geschichten ihrer Protagonisten gehen in ihren Liedern und Gedichten weiter. Und vielleicht, hoffentlich, irgendwann in einem neuen Roman.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/29CrKrQ\">Worauf du dich verlassen kannst<\/a>\u00a0ist ein dichter, intensiver Roman, in dem man sich erst zurechtfinden muss und dann nicht mehr raus will.
